Reupholstery Services - Repair Agreement
We take pride in the work we do and always aim to handle your furniture with care. That said, when it comes to repairs, there are certain risks we want you to understand before we begin.
1. Scope of Work
Repairs may not restore your furniture to “like new” condition. Our goal is to make the best improvement possible, but outcomes
may vary depending on the age, wear, and condition of the piece. Please note: not all repairs go as planned.
2. Responsibility for Damage
While we do our best to avoid accidents, repairs come with risk. If accidental damage occurs while we are working on your
furniture, we will make a good faith effort to repair that specific damage as best as we can. However, our responsibility is limited.
We may not:
Recover the entire piece.
Order additional fabric.
Recover other pieces of matching sets.
Replace furniture outright.
3. Good Faith Effort
We promise to handle your furniture with care and to do our best with each repair. You acknowledge that repairs are not guaranteed to be perfect and that you accept the risks involved.
4. Payment Terms
For all repair work, payment must be made upfront by cash or check. We do not accept credit cards or offer delayed payment terms.
5. Pick-Up and Delivery
If we pick up and/or deliver your furniture that is to be repaired you release Thayer Upholstery from all liability for:
Any damage to your furniture during moving/transport.
Any damage to your home or property (including but not limited to walls, floors, doos, vehicles, etc.).
